What is the best flat iron for coarse hair?

I have very coarse, curly hair that I straighten. It takes forever to straighten because I have a cheap flat iron. Can you suggest any reasonably priced flat irons that work well and are easy to use? Thanks.What is the best flat iron for coarse hair?
oh no..the cheaper the irons are the more they damage your hair..hopefully your hair isn't getting too damaged now but i would suggest for you to stop using that straighter and invest in a good one. if there is an ULTA where you live i would most def. go there. good brands are hot tools and chi.What is the best flat iron for coarse hair?
I would suggest using a relaxer cream first, after you shower get something like sunsilk straighten up cream, and it will make your hair straighter so it will take less to straighten. Use a straightener with ceramic plates. I have the herstyler, it was 189, but was buy one get one free, so if you can get a friend to go in half, you will pay 95$, it comes with a year warranty, and after 2 years mine works like it did the day I got it. I straighten almost every day, and my hair is soft and healthy.
my hair to is like urs curly and is a pain to have it straight!! so ... i use my revlon flat iron it seems to get the job done with ease !!! LOL

trim off your dead ends than get a straightener guard spray that works real well than get a chi they might be expensive but they work amazing on curly hair worth your money
