Which is the BEST flat iron out there?

I have been doing some research but I find it a bit difficult to trust all the reviews and I have found that I get great/real answers from this website.

What flat iron works the best for curly hair? I have researched the Chi(and I have used it and it worked fine), T3 tourmaline, ';maxiglide,'; etc?

Please give me something more than ';OMG I love the Chi!';...Tell me why you love the product and what alternatives you have used.

Thanx for your help!Which is the BEST flat iron out there?
My vote goes with CHI flat iron. You can check here http://hairstraightenercare.com/index.ph鈥?/a>Which is the BEST flat iron out there?

FHI runway, or platform. it comes in really thin sizes too! great for short hair. FHI is better than the chi. over a 100, but it is totally wort it for great hair all the time.
The CHI is best in my experience. I've been straightening my hair with one for about a year and a half and i could never go back to anything besides a CHI
a chi works great. i have curly and sometimes frizzy hair and when i straighten my hair with a chi you cant even tell i have curly hair. not sure how much it costs, but it depends where you buy it from
SEDU, CHI, HAAI, MHISD , ,DHDA. O:
i hear that the chi is the best but i have conair and it works really good!
CHI
bed head

cost about $100-$150
THE BEST WHAT?????

Whats the best flat iron out there for my type of hair?

I have really thick hair. It comes almost to my shoulders and I just want to know the best flat iron to make it soft %26amp; silkyWhats the best flat iron out there for my type of hair?
I would go with the Chi flat iron. I'm African American and have thick hair and it gets my hair bone straight. My Caucasian roommate and Hispanic friend both own a Chi flat iron and they love it. I believe it works on all hair types. A ceramic flat iron is key. Your hair will be straight and shiny!Whats the best flat iron out there for my type of hair?
I recently bought the cortex international platinum collection 1.5 inch flat iron and it works GREAT for my hair!

I have thick curly hair and its hard to find a straightener that is good for my hair!!!

I LOVE this one!
The Sedu really is a miracle!! People think that my hair is naturally straight. Thats how nice and soft and straight it makes it look. Go on Folica.com
Either a Bedhead

or a Remington Shine therapy

ghd's are definetly the best.. but they aint cheap!
With flat irons, ';best'; and ';affordable'; don't go together. I learned the hard way that you get what you pay for! In the long run, it is more cost effective to get a good one and pay a little more because it will last longer. I have a CHI that cost about $89 and I love it. I used to have a Conair that cost about $30 and it was a piece of garbage that burned out after I'd had it for a couple months.
i think that depends on how curly your hair is. mine is just wavy so i use con air. its inexpensive and its ceramic. if your hair is really curly try using hair straightening products before you dry your hair and before you use a flat iron to protect it from the heat and to keep it soft and manageable.
I dont know if its the best

but i know its really good becuase i use it and its not to expensive either.

';Chi'; hairstraighteners are really well designed ceramic hair straighteners.

  • What's the best flat iron brand i can buy?

I need a good flat iron, that won't burn my hair. What's the best brand I can buy? What's the best flat iron brand i can buy?
CHI. its what i use on my clients. it lasts long, durable and for the price (120-150ish) its the best bang for your buck. and it wont burn your hair. it cant. it doesnt reach hot enough to burn. they demonstrate it all the time in my salon with holding the iron on the hair for several minutes and its fine. just buy it at a reputable place. it you dont get it at a salon or beauty store, the warranty is void. ( target sells it and the warranty is void) but the return policy is great on them! anything happens they repair it for you!

good luck! hope you find one you like! What's the best flat iron brand i can buy?
    GHD.

Ive owned Sedu, Chi, and just about every expensive brand there is out there. My hair is long, thick, frizzy and a mess. But the GHD makes it pin straight, soft and beautiful.

Sedu and Chi are good as well, they are alot cheaper than GHD, however they dont last as long, and GHD DOES work faster and better..plus they are more healthy for your hair then Chi or Sedu. Invest in a GHD, you will NOT regret it.

You can buy them on Sephora.com
I have a CHI that I bought about 2 years ago. It was kind of expensive but definitely worth it. It works better than any other flat iron I've tried. I also use their iron guard to keep my hair from getting dried out and damaged. I highly recommend the CHI over any other knock off.
    honestly?

    cheap $15 ones at walmart.

i've tried chi at my friends house...

    on her and me.

i have pretty straight hair but it has many kinks so i straighten it.

a lot of my friends have expensive straighteners, and they're shocked at how good my cheapy straightener works.

    (:

    hope i helped.!

These are the best, I have one and I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Sedu
    use a ion ceramic straighter

you can find it at sallys beauty store ranging

    from 50-60 dollars.

i have natural black hair and this strightner work really

    well with my hair.
Chi is the best flat iron you can buy and yes it is very expensive but worth every penny.
    Chi!

It straightens my hair in like 20 minutes in what used to take me an hour with my other Remington one.

I have really thick curly hair so I love this straightener!
Ive heard chi is really really good.

    But kind of expensive.
    PAUL BROWN or BABYBLISS
    Chi irons work miracles
chi but i use a conair and it works just fine (it was only like 20 dollars)

What is the best flat iron?

I have long thick hair and need to get a new flat iron. I am looking for a ceramic one that is an inch or more. Anyone have suggestions on the best one to get? What is the best flat iron?
Every answer you are going to get is guaranteed a super-expensive and yes, very good brand like Chi, Sedu or Solia... I would love to have one of these too, but I can't be bothered to spend $200 on one.

I don't know what country your in, but in Canada, we have a store called Winners. It sells a bunch of neat stuff like brand name overstock and expensive stuff knocked down to half price. I looked in there for a flat iron and they had a bunch of Cortex ones. These were the kind they sell at the mall for $200 too... that's how much my good friend paid for hers :) Mine cost me 40 bucks and came in my favourite colour purple! It works pretty good and is small enough that I can get it right to the root and get good volume. Don't pay more than $40-50 for it though...What is the best flat iron?
i have the HAI and it works great i have never had a better flat iron before. Although it is quite expensive (around 150 or so) it is worth it. i have had it for almost 2 years now and not once have i had a problem
Try J'ilbere de Paris hair straightener, it heats up really quick and will do the work even on coarse hair in ten minutes tops. You can find it in Sally Hansen beauty supply products store. It also leaves a glossy finish and no frizz at all =)
u can get either the red conair steam iron which is very good in steaming your hair while making it straight or you can get the in style one with the rotating iron but the conair one cost less and it works good too
really, flat irons just burn your hair and make it look worse. blow dry it.
i dont know think any specific brand is better

but the ones that steam %26amp;%26amp; have different temperature settings are definitely better

just because some are more expensive, it does not make them better
I use the chi, they're used in salons alot and they dont burn your hair, plus after your hair feels really soft. mine was 130$ but i think you can get them for 80
I heard about this thing called instyle and its not like a regular flat iron and i heard it looks really good
Chi Brand. Definitely! They are more on the expensive side, but definitely worth it.
GHD. definitely worth getting one, there great! especially for thick long hair.
    GHD
    Chi!

What is the best flat iron that is affordable? & a heat protector to go with it?

The best flat iron is CHI %26amp; the CHI protectant spray. It may not be really affordable but they last forever and THEY ARE THE BEST so you wont have to buy a new one the next day after the cheap one breaks :]

chi turbo%26lt;%26lt; thats what i have and i love itWhat is the best flat iron that is affordable? %26amp; a heat protector to go with it?
CHI SEDU GHD SOLIA are very good and are pure ceramic but if you don't have the budget get one from Sally's Curl Master flat iron is good the irons there are not pure ceramic only coated so after a while of use the ceramic will come off and you will have to replace it.

As for a heat protector l'oreal, Paul Mitchell, but really you have to find one by trail and error to find something that really works for you. What works for one person might not work for you.

I use a SOLIA flat iron and for protection Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum.

Visit www.folica.com they have reviews on flat irons. What is the best flat iron that is affordable? %26amp; a heat protector to go with it?
The CHI is a great flat iron, I own one, but if you're looking for a cheap, effective alternative try the Generic CHI at Sally's Beauty Supply. I have heard great reviews about it and they sell many heat protectants there as well.
Remmington's Wet 2 Straight flat iron is really good. (and really affordable, about $29) I've been using mine for years and I love it. My hair is naturally curly, and it straightens it really good.
Most Ceramic Straightners work good and protect your hair, I use a Remington Wet to Straight. They can very from 20 to 30 dollars for the cheaper ones.
Many people will say the Chi but I like the Corioliss! I have NEVER found an iron that actually works but this one does. I have naturally curly hair %26amp; even if I go to a salon to pay %26amp; have it done, it gets friizzy as soon as I get outisde. But with the Corioliss, I went outside in the rain, and not one hair stood up!! I LOVE IT! I think as long as you have a decent CERAMIC flat iron you should be ok.
