I use the 'Helen of Troy' 1 3/4 inch flat iron. You can find them at Sally's, I was there today and noticed they were $5 off making them $35. Not too bad for a nice ceramic iron.
some people say ceramic is the best, but i have a 12 dollar one from walmart and it works great, and i have frizzy corse thick hair. just make sure you get all sections.
