Sedu is good! I have one! I love ittttt, it straightens and heats up REALLY fast, and doesn't pull your hair out!!!

www.folica.com ...you can read reviews about both products! What Is The Best Flat Iron Chi Or Sedu?
I have the Sedu one and I LOVE IT. It really heats up super fast....I put my fingers on the heating things and I felt it heat up in like...10 secs then it got too hot lol.

I'm sure the CHI is good too, my bff has one, and she says it's good..

But I love my Sedu better (: It's way lighter!

i've never heard of sedu but if it comparable to chi, it must be a good straightener too. you can look into the pros and cons of each one and decide what would be better for your hair type. for me, it is a chi. but you could check this-

SEDU:

1) Lightweight

2) Straightens better

3) Does not catch hair or break hair

4) Have temperature control (good)

5) Heats up fast

6) Hair softer and shiny for my thick hair.

CHI:

1) Heavier

2) Cheaper

3) Straightens well

4) No temperature control (fixed temp)

5) Breaks easier

i found that on a previous article on yahoo answers written by salon gal. but you could pick whatever straightener you prefer
Sedu is by far the best straightener out there!

-It doesn't damage your hair (That's what it says on the box!)

-You can adjust the temperature up to 410 degrees Fahrenheit

-It has a tourmaline coating

-It's light weight

-It heats up in 20 seconds

-Can curl, flip, %26amp; straighten hair!

-It keeps your hair silky with every use! (No joke!)

-It's wayyyy better than a CHI or GHD straighter, because CHI's %26amp; GHD's damage your hair a ton, and you cant adjust the temperature. It got a lot of bad reviews, and they break very easily, believe me.

-It can cut your straightening time in half.

So get a Sedu! It got a lot of great reviews %26amp; VERY FEW bad ones.

And Sedu got an award by Allure magazine for best straightner, and an award at folica.com. MANY celebrities also use this straightener. And some celebrities at the Emmy Awards recieved one!

It's a $115 though. It's well worth it! BELIEVE ME! I've used a lot of straighteners and this is truly the BEST you can get!

Hope I helped :)

And with this straightner, it makes your hair stay straight all day! even with the humidity. Just dont get your hair wet.

And just straighten it normally. Divide your hair into sections, and dont keep your fingers too close to the hot plates, or else you'll get burned! And don't buy a Solia straightener. those are just stupid! it's very easy to get burned because the hot plates are made to close!

So buy a Sedu :)

Take my word for it!

Just go to the website I gave you and look at the reviews. All of them are great! They also include pictures of hair, before %26amp; after straightening!

By the way, it's a Ceramic Tourmaline Professional straightener.

Don't get ANY other straightener other than this. Dont get a Coriolis, GHD, CHI, Solia, or all of those cheap non-proffessional you can buy from Target or Walmart, they dont work good at all!

By the way, those really cheap ones you can get damage %26amp; dry your hair out like no tommorow!

trust me, i've used A LOT of straighteners, and sedu is by far the best one!

oh and you can purchase one at ULTA or www.folica.com.
I have a chi and it works really well. But then I ordered the kiyoseki and it is amazing I have very thick curly frizzy hair and I think it is better then my chi it makes my hair very straight. They both cost around the same amount but I would recomend the kiyoseki.
I think Sedu works better than Chi because there are haircuts dedictated to the Sedu straightenr, not Chi. I've never use either so i'm not exactly positive though.
chi! i have a very curly hair (and a lot of hair..) it's below my shoulder and it takes me about 20 minutes to perfectly straighten my hair. i have a few friends who have sedus and they are not very satisfied with them..
i have never had a sedu but i absoulutely love mmy chi amd every one i know loves there chi
Chi would prolly be better..
CHI rox!
I like Chi, never heard of Sedu and I've done hair for the last 14 yrs. so I'd go with Chi...
WELL I HAVE REALLY CURLY HAIR AND THE CHI ONE WORKS LIKE CRAZY.. I DONT NEED TO PUT NOTHING IN IT. IT LOOKS SHINY, SMOTH
chi
well...

Many people will already be familiar with the sedu hair straightener because of the publicity they have been receiving, especially due to the fact that many of the celebrities today are sporting sedu hair styles. The sedu hair iron heats up in 25 seconds, saves on electricity, and comes with a temperature control which can be adjusted for individual hair types.

The Chi

Chi hair straighteners are among the best hair straighteners on the markets today and this article gives you all the information you need before purchasing a Chi hair straightener.

Chi hair straighteners are one of Farouk flat irons and are a 1 inch ceramic hair straightening iron that can straighten, flip and curl hair. This ceramic hair straightening iron is one of the best hair straighteners but it also has its downsides. The main one being that Chi hair straighteners can only be used in the USA or Canada and will not work even with a converter.

Chi Hair Straightener Features

Chi hair straighteners by Farouk flat irons use ceramic heat and this ceramic hair straightening iron maintains an even temperature throughout its usage time. By using ceramic heat, Chi hair straighteners also help to seal hair cuticles and repel humidity helping to prevent hair damage.

Chi hair straighteners are also ergonomically designed and come with a 10 foot electrical cord with a 360 degree swivel connection. The on off switch is positioned on the side making access to this even easier and this ceramic hair straightening iron is also lightweight which is always a bonus.

Safety features of Chi hair straighteners include a circuit breaker and the use of space age installation where only the ceramic plates heat up and not the whole unit. This is an excellent feature especially if the unit is left powered on accidentally.

Chi hair straighteners by Farouk flat irons are versatile and can be used for a wide range of styling needs. These include hair straightening, hair curling, hair flips, hair crimping, dreadlocks, and preparing hair for dry hair cuts.

i thought the chi was amazing but by the looks of it the sedu might be even better.

but your choice:)
I bought a Sedu at the beginning of this year. I read SO many reviews, and decided to try it out.

It broke in 3 months. Literally. The spring broke in it, and it wouldn't clamp down on it anymore.

It didn't straighten my hair all the way (it flipped out at the ends), and took just as long as my crappy straightener. The only thing that was exceptionally good with it was that it did put a little shine in my hair, and it didn't snag any hair either.

I have very wavy/curly hair. I'd suggest the Chi; my friends use it and swear by it.
