What's the best flat iron to straighten natural hair?

My hair is really thick and I'm not sure which brand to buy.What's the best flat iron to straighten natural hair?
I have very thick hair myself.





Chi's are one of the highest brand straightners.


Their prices vary through the 100's, but you can find them on Ebay and Craigslist for much cheaper. Paul Mitchell straightners are also very good, they range in the 100's also.





If you get a straightner do plan to spend some money for a good one that actually WILL straigten. The cheap ones that are $50 don't do any good and will just break soon enough.
