and also, any suggestions on good shampoo, conditioner, or products to get pin-straight hair?
and any tips on how to get pin straight hair?
thanks ! =)The best flat irons? and products to get pin-straight hair?
Ceramic flat irons work the best. I would suggest going to a good salon and get a Japanese straightening treatment it works really well and it lasts a long time and you will have completely straight hair. It can be expensive depending on where you go but it is nice not to have to always use the flat iron. The best flat irons? and products to get pin-straight hair?
I love the wet2dry straightening iron because it does what it is named for, and why waste a lot of time getting the hair dry and then turn around and use a flat iron too. It will get the hair dry and silky straight all at once.I think i bought mine at Wal-mart and as a cosmetologist i like it so much better than the ones that you got to break the bank for. Make sure you section the hair in one inch sections and use a comb to guide the flat iron in one long smooth movement and don't stop on the hair which will cause the lines to appear. Also be sure to use some kind of thermal protective lotion, cream or spray, this will help keep the heat from hurting your hair.
You are going to have to invest in a high quality flat iron. I just bought one from my local mall in Chicago ';burbs';, and it is fantastic. I have highly frizzy curly hair. My normal flat iron would take my 2 hours on medium (but really thick) lenght hair. Going over and over each section 6-8 times. Now, I go over my hair once with no products, using my regular shampoo and conditioner (nothing special) and it is pin straight..... The name of the flat iron is Cortex. You want to make sure tha tyou have ceramic plates (not coated with anything though)
get a salon curling iron they usually work good same with shampoo and conditioner
