What is the best flat irons for natural african american hair?

I'm a African American woman with thick natural hair. I've been looking for flat irons, my daughters uses Black N Gold (they have relaxed hair) but it doesn't do much for me. I want flat irons that will get my hair straight from root to end. I've heard of CHI and FHI but I dont have enough information to make a purchase. ....Please Help!What is the best flat irons for natural african american hair?

The sedu flatirons: These are my favorite because they have nano tourmaline ceramic plates.


The solia which is good quality but not as nice as the sedu in my opinion.


The ghd which is supposed to be the one of the best but it does not have tourmaline

Actually the best thing to use for your type of hair is a high-heat curling iron.


I recommend Conair Infiniti. It is the best one I've ever seen and it works the best on my clients. Also the half-inch one is a good size for shorter hair. And it is alot cheaper than the CHI.


And use an Oil Sheen such as Motions or (a little more expensive) BioInfusion.





They work GREAT together.
CHi is amazing i have some pretty wavy hair (its wispy strands though but a lot of hair!) and it gets my hair stick straight every time. It a professionastraightenerer so its works pretty well. If you dont want to by a new one recommended doing an oil treatment before you flat iron. good luck :)
I have mixed hair and I swear by my CHI. I have tried 5 or 6 different brands but the CHI makes my hair absolutely gorgeous and silky and does it much more quickly and without as much damage as other irons I've tried. It was definitely worth the cost.

Buy a CHI Straightener. I heard they work really well, and you can buy them off Ebay for like 70$. Its worth the money though .
well I'm not African American, but I love my hair straightener! its a 1 inch 'Wet 2 Straight' Remington,it works amazingly. and to prevent static might I suggest Matrix Heat Zone?
