I want to purchase a new flat iron and I need some feedback on a few good ones!What are the best flat irons on the market?
Chi straighteners have been known for the best for a while now

I have had more hair straighteners than I can count and I would have to say the best by far is made by CHI. Most hair salons use them and they work wonderfully... it cuts the time I take to flat iron my really, really thick hair in half. You can find them at upscale salon providers (check your mall) for $120-$150. But check Amazon or Ebay too- I bet you find a great one for much cheaper. Mine was about $140 but I think it was worth every penny- I've had it for two years and still works great
the CHI. hands down. kind of pricey... but believe me. its worth it in the long run. i've found them a lot cheaper on amazon rather than just purchasing from the store. if you can't afford the CHI, the GVP is almost just as good. it is about half of the price. many upscale salons use the GVP in lieu of the CHI.
Cortex is good they sell them in the malls for $120 but you can get them on the internet for alot less.
