I want to buy the Bed Head Tourmaline flat iron- seeing as at the moment I can't buy the CHI one- and it reaches a maximum of 400 degrees. is this good for thick hair?What is the best flat iron temperature to use on thick hair?
Honestly you don't need to det your flat iron on high no matter how thick your hair is.
I have thick curly hair and I set my flat iron to medium and work in small sections. i comb a section spray it with shine spray and take the flat iron to it, then slowly and gently pull in the direction I want my hair to go.
I use a $15 Con Air flat iron that I got at Target 4 years ago and it works fine for me
